Fortnum & Mason's Orange Curd

This is a 310g jar of lemon curd..... thicker than jam but not as bitter/tangy as marmalade.  I've tried the lemon curd and lime curd already and this is on a par with the Fortnum's lemon curd although I think I like the lemon curd SLIGHTLY better

It has a lovely tangy orange taste but not too tangy.  This 310g jar costs £4.95 and is worth the price.  It can be purchased in-store at the main Piccadilly store in London or online through their website here
Lovely on toast, toasted teacakes or crumpets or muffins

Orange Crunch biscuits, V&A Museum

This 200g tub of biscuits (cookies) are available at the Victoria and Albert Museum main ground floor gift shop, priced at £3.50.  They taste spectacular - very orangey!! Well worth getting for a not terribly expensive treat!

Also available online at the V&A website shop although currently sold out.

The tub design is a textile design by C F A Voysey (1857 - 1941)

Prestat posh chocolate spread, with Clementine

We got a 215g jar of this when Prestat still had a concession at the Harrods Brompton Road store (two jars for £10) and it's luxuriously stunning!!!  72% chocolate spread with bits of real Spanish orange clementines in - sort of like a chocolate marmalade!  It's FABULOUS!
Although this is not currently listed on the Prestat website, I have seen it listed on the Selfridges website here Selfridges for £6.99 (out of stock on 13 December 2017) and also on Amazon as a pack of two (again, out of stock on 13 December 2017)
If you can find this stuff, GET IT!!!

Fortnum and Masons Orange hot chocolate drink

This is another of the Fortnum & Masons hot chocolate drink range and I'm not convinced I like this.  First time I tried it, I didn't like it at all.  Second time I tried it, it tasted slightly better but not much.  It's flaked chocolate (like the caramel one of their I like) and instructions say to use 2 tablespoons of the chocolate, heat up the milk in a pan and when hot, pour a little of the milk onto the chocolate and then mix into the paste, and then pour the rest of the milk in.  It has a strong taste in my opinion but I didn't like it at all.  A friend tried it and says that it tastes like a dark chocolate rather than a milk chocolate which may explain why I don't like it.   (But then the Harrods Mocha hot choc reminds me of a 70% chocolate and I like that one)
I'm not convinced.....!!

This can be purchased from Fortnums HERE and costs £15 a tin.
